NewScope-9 is an LCD retrofit kit to replace the HP 1349A or 1349D Digital Display used on the following HP equipment:

• 8753A Network Analyzer 
• 8753B Network Analyzer
• 8757A Scalar Network Analyzer
• 8702A Lightwave Component Analyzer
• 8720A Network Analyzer

• Supports SVGA resolution
• Bitmap font gives better clarity over the original vector font when rendered on an LCD panel
• Display items are differentiated by colors, similar to later models in the same test equipment family
• Parallax correction scales the soft menu text area to alight with the soft menu keys without affecting the rest of the picture
• Four display schemes selectable by the Focus adjustment (via pot or menu setting)
• The vector memory available on the 1349D can be enabled by a jumper
• The LCD back light is powered from the regulated +15V that was used for the 1349A/D display in the system
