NewScope-9 is an LCD retrofit kit to replace the HP 1349A or 1349D Digital Display used on the following HP equipments:
- 8753A, 8753B Network Analyzer
- 8757A Scalar Network Analyzer
- 8702A Lightwave Component Analyzer
- 8720A Network Analyzer
- Supports SVGA and XGA resolutions

Bitmap font with hand-optimized glyphs gives
better clarity over the original vector font when rendered on a raster LCD
panel

Display items are differentiated by colors,
similar to later models of the same test equipment family
- Parallax correction allows user to adjust the
alignment between the soft menu items and the soft menu keys without affecting
the rest of the picture
- Four display schemes selectable by the Focus
adjustment (via pot or menu setting)
- The vector memory available on the 1349D can be
enabled by a jumper
- The LCD back light is powered from the regulated
+15V that was used for the 1349A/D display in the system
